The coffee with my ancestors Story
Coffee with my Ancestors is a project of the Ancestral Souls Wisdom School. The phrase was born from encounters I had with my spirit guide, my great grandpa Joseph Kokoska, since 2012. Joseph appeared through a writing prompt where I time traveled to 29 May 1921 into the home where he grew up and my great grand uncle Michael’s remains from WWI were laying in a casket ready to be transported to Bohemian National Cemetery for burial. Listen to the end of Michael’s story here. Any time I have needed some extra love, reassurance, guidance, or a coffee & kolacky, I travel through that writing prompt back to his kitchen. His love & guidance from the other side of the veil has helped me heal, grow, find love, and find my authentic self. Have I had experiences like this with other ancestors and guides? Yes!
The Coffee with my Ancestors Projects invites you to share the stories of those in your family that can no longer speak for themselves. To tell the love stories and how love transforms and heals. To talk about the “taboo” or “woo-woo” topics that are not allowed in other spaces. Here it is ok to say your dead grandmother talks to you or that your cousin who died in World War II traveled Europe with you to help you both heal so your life could be transformed. In this sacred space we want to hear the untold stories of your ancestors – their blessings, burdens, struggles, traumas, resilience. How did those things shape and impact how you live? We want to hear your personal healing and transformation stories as these stories will inspire others and remind them that they are not alone in their journey.
What we offer
ancestral cafe membership
A monthly membership program to help you navigate your personal and ancestral lineage healing. You will learn how to identify personal & ancestral beliefs, behaviors, & patterns & how to release them.
Live class meets the 2nd Saturday of the month at 10:00 a.m. CST. Q&A class meets 3rd Tuesday of the month at 12:00 p.m. CST.
The first live class begins 8 January 2022. Bonus materials open upon subscription to the membership program.
